E-TOP UP, IT'S FEBRUARY,THIS AIN'T CHRISTMAS

I just discovered this brand from a facebook advert. It's funny to know that a brand like this could afford to keep up with facebook advert but ignore to update its web contents.

E-TOPUP, this is February and tomorrow isn't Christmas. So, what's the heck with the Christmas cap on your E-TOPUP logo? Is your web designer on vacation?

Charity begins at home; if you attract traffic to your website and fail to project to your clients that you are current, there would definitely be a problem. Nigerians want standard, they want to be sure they are dealing with human, not some robots who are not sensitive to change.

I suggest that you should update your logo concept and keep to what's in vogue. Can't you feel the splendor of love in the air?

CARELESS DISPLAY/ADVERT OF TOBACCO ON BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO'S HOMEPAGE

The Nigeria National Tobacco Control Bill is a comprehensive law that regulates the manufacturing, advertising, distribution and consumption of tobacco products in Nigeria. The bill was passed sometime in 2009. It is intended to prohibit all forms of tobacco advertisements (direct or indirect), sponsorship and promotions, endorsements, testimonials or sales promotions. How would you relate the stipulation of the bill above to the display of tobacco products on the company's website http://www.batnigeria.com/ ? Don't you think this is a form of advert? Can someone please tell British American Tobacco to keep to the standard given by the Nigerian law? As a company dealing with brands that pose risks to health, I believe that there are many other ways that BAT Nigeria can stylishly and creatively pass a message about their brand instead of carelessly displaying the brand on their homepage. Check  http://www.bat.com/ , did you notice any difference in the d...

WHY ARE SACHET CONSUMABLE PRODUCTS NOT PACKAGED IN TRANSPARENT MATERIALS?

A friend of mine called to report to me few days ago that he went to a shop to get some bottles of alcoholic drinks (spirit) to help his wife who just gave birth to a baby… burn some fat. It is a common local practice among nursing mothers here in Nigeria. I don’t really know how effective the result is. Anyway, that is not my bone of contention for writing this piece. After getting the drinks, my friend told me he saw some scary particles in the drink, shortly after his wife drank from one of the bottles. On discovering this, he quickly checked the other bottle which is still sealed and discovered that there were some noticeable particles in the bottle too. So, he called to ask for my advice since his wife had been stooling and vomiting for some days now. She is presently admitted at the hospital. We have decided to take this case up against the company. Any lawyer interested in helping us out to seek justice should please contact me as soon as possible. We have the ...
